By accessing or using StoryBloc (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
StoryBloc is a store and player for audio storytelling. The Service lets you browse and buy audiobooks, audio dramas and audiocomics, listen to and read what you have bought, keep a library of it across your devices, buy and spend coins, and hold conversations with AI characters drawn from those stories. Creating and publishing stories happens in a separate StoryBloc application with its own terms. Features may change or be updated at any time without prior notice.
To access most features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. StoryBloc will not be liable for any losses caused by unauthorized use of your account.
You do not create or publish stories in this app. The only things you write here are your reviews and ratings, and your own messages in a character conversation. You keep ownership of what you write. By posting a review you grant StoryBloc a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it alongside the title it reviews. Your conversations with characters are private to your account and are not published. You are responsible for ensuring what you write is lawful and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
A character’s replies are generated by software from a creator’s work. They are not yours, they are not a substitute for the story itself, and they may be wrong.

The Service, and the stories, audio, artwork and characters within it, remain the property of StoryBloc and the creators who licence to it. When you buy a title you are buying a personal, non-transferable licence to listen to it and read it through StoryBloc — not ownership of the work, and not the right to copy, download, share, broadcast or resell it. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.
Certain features of the Service are available on a subscription basis. By selecting a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as they become due. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Refunds are issued at our discretion and in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. StoryBloc does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, StoryBloc and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notifying you by email. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
