The story
Twelve-year-old Johnny Akinwale has spent his life living with a fever no doctor can explain—and an anger he cannot always control.
Then a confrontation with school bullies ends in impossible flames.
Suddenly, Johnny is drawn beyond the familiar streets of Ajegunle and into a hidden world of ancient powers, deadly creatures, and a war ordinary people cannot see. Something terrible is approaching. The blood moons are coming, and Johnny may be one of the few who can stop them.
But the power awakening inside him is fuelled by his darkest emotions. Every time he unleashes it, he risks losing control—and becoming as dangerous as the enemies hunting him.
To protect everyone he loves, Johnny must discover what he truly is before the fire inside him consumes everything.
Blood Moons is a fast-paced supernatural fantasy about friendship, faith, courage, and the dangerous power hidden within an ordinary boy.
